This Privacy Statement describes how AIHF Online collects, uses and distributes information about our users.  Please read this privacy statement carefully.  By visiting aihfonline.com, you are accepting the practices and uses described in this Privacy Statement.

This Privacy Statement applies only to our website and not to any website which we link to or which advertises on our website. We have no control over the privacy policies or practices of any other website.

 

What information do we collect?

We collect and maintain several types of information about you.

First, we collect information which you enter about yourself on the website when you register with us or place an order.  This includes your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and password.  We also collect information about the products you save in your wish list and when you stored them and the items in your shopping cart.  We also save information about any orders you place with us, including information about what you order, where you have it shipped, how you pay for your order and the tracking information for any shipments we send to you.

If you pay for an order with a credit card, we will store your credit card information, which may include the entire credit card number, expiration date, security verification code and the name appearing on the credit card.  However, our relationship with the credit card company may restrict the credit card information we keep.

We also collect information about you when you send us comments, ideas or suggestions about us, the products and services we offer on the website and the website itself.

Our website places “cookies” on the hard drives of the users who visit it.  This allows us to monitor when you visit the website and what portions of the website you visit.  Cookies also allow us to keep track of the items in your wish list and shopping cart, identify you the next time you return to the website, and provide customized services to you.   If you disable cookies on your web browser certain functions of the Website may not operate correctly.

The software we use to run our website collects information about everybody who visits our website, including information about the day and time they visit, the browser they use, how long they spend on our site and on individual pages.  The software also stores the “Internet Protocol” address for your computer. 

What do we do with your information?

We use the information we collect about you to accept orders from you, e-mail status reports regarding orders to you, ship products to you and provide other services to you.  If you opt-in to our email program, we use this information to send you emails about our products and services and the products and services of our business partners and affiliates.  We may also use your information to change what you see on the website or to provide suggestions for other products.

In addition, we may use information about our users, either individually or in the aggregate, to perform market research, to determine what products and services we should offer, and to determine the prices of those products and services.  Your information may also be used for technical reasons relating to the maintenance of our website.  We will use your personal information if we need to communicate with you regarding your order or any issues with products you purchased from the website.

With the exception of certain credit-card information, we store all of the information we have about you for an indefinite period.

We may provide aggregate information about our users to advertisers and other third parties.  When we do provide this aggregate information, it does not contain personal information about any users of the website.

We maintain administrative, physical and technical safeguards to help protect your personal information from unauthorized use, modification or disclosure.  We also encrypt the communications between the website and your browser relating to product purchases if you use a compatible browser.  While we are committed to protecting your information from unauthorized use, you should know that no website, including ours, is completely secure. 

What should you know about your password?

Your password is used to protect your personal information.  Anybody with your password will have access to the personal information you have given us.  You agree not to give your password to anybody.  If you use your password on a different website and somebody gets your password from that website, they may use it to access your personal information on our website.

May children use the website?

No.  We limit registration on the website to people who are 18 years old or older.  If you are younger than 18, you may not register.  We do not knowingly store personal information about children younger than 18 years old.
